New Helmet

Megan took her helmet back to get the next size up today. Here she is with her new one. I think she is more excited about the elbow and knee pads then she is about the helmet.
Here is a close up of her eye. This was taken this evening. I don't know why she has that spaced look. Anyway, under the eye looks so much better.

Bye Bye Curls

Seth received his second hair cut. All of the curls that I loved are gone! I'm thinking that it might thicken up a little now. His hair feels a lot better now. All of the fuzzy hair that our kids have when they do finally get hair is gone. Now he has "real hair" as Greg's Philly barber ,Pete, would say. Megan and I didn't go in with Greg and Seth this time because Greg took him to a real barber. Sort of like a, "Men Only" barber. I wanted to go in but I felt strange so Meg and I went and did what most girls would do. We went shopping. Actually we were still wanting to shop when they were finished. (Just like most girls.) Greg just got him a regular hair cut this time. Maybe when he gets more hair we can give him a flat top or something. Like he needs anything else to make him look ornery.
No curls and still the most handsome little boy every! FYI.....Meg is continuing to look so much better. She is outside with Greg and Seth right now. (With lots of sun block on.) I will try to get a pic of her this evening and post it. Thank you for your prayers. We think there will be little or no scar!! Thank the Lord!!

Logan update!

Seth and Megan got helmets, knee pads, and elbow pads the day that Megan got her stitches out. We have to take Meg's back. It was the wrong size. Here is Seth posing in his. Check out those chocolate drop eyes! Just like Uncle Paul.
We found out that Megan's friend, Logan, from VA has been having his mom check on our blog to see how Meg is doing. Megan met Logan at Abby's birthday party. He is Abby's cousin. He is older then the girls but he plays so good with them. He would ask them if they wanted to play with them and the kids really like him. Megan still talks about Logan. So Logan.....this is Megan the day that she got her stitches out. She looks better.
This is what she looks like today. She is really looking good. Thank the Lord!! Check out those beautiful blue eyes! Just like Grandmom.

Stitches Removed

Seth has a new summer outfit. I think he looks so cute! My kids have really cute feet! I know, I'm crazy.
Meg had her stitches removed. OK I want my medical blog friends to zoom in and tell me what you think. Megan's Dr was off today so we went to the other pediatrician that is in the group with Dr. Holly. Dr. Holly is who we take the kids to. We love her to pieces. The Dr that we went to today is a husband and wife team. The wife couldn't see very well and the husband has tremors. Not a good thing when you are removing tiny stitches. She ended up catching Meg's cheek with something and I think she pulled it apart a little. I wish so bad that Dr. Holly would have been in today. We will check back with Dr. Holly and see if she thinks that we need to have any other procedures. We pray that she won't but we are planning to do it if that is what it takes for her to not have a scar. Keep her healing in your prayers. The Dr today said that it looked like she might have a scar. I am to use sunscreen with moisturiser in it to keep it from the sun and also keep the scar away. If you compare this pic to the one taken on Sunday you will see a big difference.

Meg's Suprise

Greg told Megan that since she was so good at the hospital that she would get a surprise. He told me that he would get her anything that she wanted. It's OK to say that when the kid is 3 because you about know that it isn't going to cost over $20. I thought about it later and I thought that I should have told her to tell daddy that we want a Mustang convertible! I just thought about it too late. This is what she picked out. It's a Thomas train and station. Seth got a Percy and saw mill. The tracks can link together. They have had a blast with it. This pic was taken on Saturday. Look below and you will see that her face looks a lot better today.
We were baby sitting Summer while my sister in law went to a graduation. We really liked having her around. Summer is the first animal that Aunt Anna has allowed to stay in the house. Here she is getting a ride in Meg's stroller. She is a good dog. Our cats didn't like her but I don't like the cats. We didn't ask for the cats. They have just appeared. I think it's about time to get rid of them.

New Baby Dress

Megan and her baby have matching dresses. I think they look so cute! This is the first pic that I have posted of Megan since she had her accident. It is looking a lot better. We still have a ways to go though. Keep her in your prayers. It makes me so sad to see her like this. I can't wait until it's over with.

This is Megan and Seth after church this morning. I love Seth's hair. I don't know if I'm going to be able to get those curls cut off.

Megan's update

Megan is doing much better. She has only had to take medicine one time for pain. She told me today that it was tickling. It must be healing. Thank the Lord! I met a woman in the check out line this morning. She informed me that she was an ER nurse and she said that the stitches were nice and little. She thought that it looked good. I was glad to hear that. Today was the last day that we were to put the medicine on it. Now we just have to keep it dry. Keep her in your prayers. We are still thankful that it wasn't in her eye. We are to take her to the peds on Tuesday to get the stitches out. We hope for good news then.

Megan stitches

We got home Wednesday around 6:45 pm. It was good to be home. To make a long story short, Megan was in the garage with her daddy a knocked some shelving over on her. She got a cut just below her eye. We rushed her to ER. She got 12 stitches! It was terrible. They didn't put her out to put them in. She was saying, "Help me mommy, They're hurting me." She was saying it in this little sad voice. I just made me so sad I felt like crying. She did really good. She is supposed to get the stitches out Tuesday. Please help us pray that she doesn't get a scar. We have already decided that we are going to get it taken care of if she does have a scar. The cut is about a half inch or an inch below her eye. The Dr. said that I was really good with Megan and said that I was a lot of help. That made me feel a little comfort. We just thank the Lord that it didn't get her eye. Keep us in your prayers.

Road Trip

It has been a long time since I have updated. Things have been a bit crazy. We went to TN last a week ago this past Wednesday. We met John, Michele, Abby, and Christina. We spent a few nights there and then head to VA where John and Michele live. Greg's parents were there too. We were celebrating Abby's 3rd birthday and Chirstiana's 1st Birthday. We didn't have internet at the cabin like we did the last time. It was a really nice place I couldn't believe none of the cabins aroung there had wireless. I didn't miss the cellphone at all!! We had a good time with Greg's family. The kids played really good together. We didn't get a pic of Megan in the hot tub this time. She was the only kid that would get in. The couples took turns watching the kids so that each of us had a chance to get in the hot tub. I would really like one on the back porch. Maybe one of these days.

Greg and I took the kids to the Black Bear Jamboree. I didn't like it. Too much dancing for me. I had to ask forgivness for taking my kids there. The bear pic was neat.

Seth gave Christina lots of kisses. It was strange seeing Seth as the big cousin.

Happy Mother's Day

Greg and I are very happy to have the mom's that the Lord has blessed us with. We want to take this time to let you guys know that we love you . Here is a pic of Greg's Mom with Megan at her left and Abby on her right. You are a fun Grandmom! Thanks for all of the extra things that you do to fill in the miles that are between us. Love ya! Happy Mother's Day!
Here is a pic of my mom at Mirtle Beach. You can't tell but she is watching our kids. Thank you mom for taking good care of our kids. You don't know how good it makes me feel to be able to go to work and know that they are being well taken care of. I know that you love our kids and that you will do your best to make sure they are taken care of. Love ya! Happy Mother's Day!

Megan's Art

Thomas the Tank Engine is pretty popular around our house. Megan and Seth went out to eat the other day with my parents while we were at work. While they were waiting on their food Megan drew a pic of Percy, one of Thomas' friends. I'm sure that all of you parents out there will notice the tracks on the bottom with three wheels on them. She placed a face on the front with two eyes and Percy has coal in the back. I was pretty excited about this. I thought this was pretty good for a three year old. Hope you can see what we see. Thanks for letting me brag:)

Seth's Curl

Seth has a curl! Our kids don't usually start growing hair until around their first birthday. Seth now has enough hair to see that it's going to be curly. Imagine that! You might have to zoom in to see the little curl action right by his neck. As my friend Michelle would say, "so stinkin' cute!"

Happy 85th Birthday Gram!

I wanted to post this special day for Greg's Grandma Katie. This is Greg's Mother's Mom. If you have been to I.H.C., Dayton Wesleyan Holiness Church, or West Milton Camp you will probably remember her. She loves to serve the Lord and enjoys going to church and Worshiping the one that she serves. I have enjoyed getting to know Gram as more then just the lady who sits up front at camp and sings and praises the Lord with her sister. Gram, you are a fantastic Grandma. We love you very much. Hope you have a great day. Happy Birthday Love,
Greg, Anna, Megan, & Seth
